I inherited my dad's John Deere 260 last year. Before I started using it I checked the spark plug, and air filter etc..., and everything looks clean, but it has a hard time starting. If I spray starting fluid in the air box while cranking it'll fire up and runs fine after that. I think it was sitting for 5+ year before I got it.
