I just bought a new MTD/ Yardman push behind mower with a Briggs and Stratton engine at Home Depot. Nice looking mower, solid price. Everything was easy to put together except now I am not sure where/ what part of engine to connect the cable that is coming from the safety bar. Everything else went smoothly - put oil and gas in no problem, put handle, choke and discharge guard together in a few minutes with no issues. Hoping I am just missing something small. Even my neighbor had trouble finding where to connect the cable so the safety bar pulls tight, and he's out there mowing his yard every 3 or 4 days. Any help you can provide is much appreciated.
