New member, seeking guidance

Hello,

New member here, i am looking forward to enjoying and learning about one of my favorite things in the world, vehicles.

I have a 1968 Ford LTD 4dr with an original 302ci and 3spd Automatic transmission (I believe FMX tranny). The car has 61k original miles, and aside from a few things it is in overall great condition for the age.

Does anyone know what headers will fit this car? There are zero made specific for this vehicle, so i was wondering if any other cars with the same engine and tranny and frame would share possible demensions. I want to do the full exhaust on this car and convert to dual exhaust as well as swap the manifold for a header. Short style might be best for my uses

Thanks for any tips or suggestions.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.

Hello to all,
Just a quick note about myself. Retired Toolmaker(General Motors) and tinkerer. I am 71 years old and still like to fix my own stuff and have been know to repair it if possible since I have a couple of lathes and a mill at home.
I have several (3) larger machines, aka Simplicity 9020, 4041 and a Allis 720. I also have a Hustler Super Z, 72" HD deck with a 26hp liquid cooled Kawasaki that I use to mow my property with.
A couple of years ago I bought an old Huskee lawn tractor. It has the 20hp Kohler twin and a 50" cutting deck. It ran, but not good. I just recently rebuilt the carb, new spark plugs filters, oil, etc. The old girl runs good now. I was out mowing with it and checking it out and it just quit moving, threw the worn out drive belt. I ordered a new drive belt, and the deck belts and am getting ready to reinstall the deck.
Now the reason for my post. I noticed the deck height adjustment doesn't seem to be correct. I have searched to no avail for an owners manual and am wondering if anyone on here has any secrets about how to acquire one?
The model no. is 4420294, serial no. 062394c 001289 and last but not least it was sold by Tractor Supply TS 2051C.
Any help would be helpful and greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jerry.

Hello, my name is John and live in Texas about 50 miles north of Houston.
I am new to the forum even though I have read some posts as a visitor. I have a scag zero turn mower with a 19hp kaw engine. My attention came to the site while trying to determine why the mower would blow a fuse during engagement of the magnetic clutch. Have come to the sad conclusion that it is likely the magnetic coils in the clutch. The ohm reading when testing between the two wires to the clutch shows a dead short in the coils.
Am looking forward to reading more regarding others who are in need of info for their machines. Thanks for allowing me to be a part of the forum.

Hello to all!! my name is Steve Bailey aka longmtnman on this forum. My lawn grooming, bush whacking, multi tasking machine is a Gravely Pro-Master 360D rear steer Model 990010 with the 22hp Yanmar diesel and a 60" side discharge deck. It has only 600 or so hours and has been a great machine. I also recently added a Troy-Bilt Horse PTO model tiller/composter with the original cast iron 8hp Kohler. Searches about that Kohler is what led me to this site. Thanks to all who had posts related to the engine.
I want to apologize in advance for any and all foolish questions and toes that I may unintentionally step on.

Howdy!
Irv's the name. Daisyman, my handle, comes from collecting air guns of all kinds for many years, of which Daisy was a large presence when I was a kid.
I got into redoing John Deere riding lawn mowers last fall for resale as a kind of paying hobby. I particularly like the LX series with the water cooled Kawasaki's. Most of them have been around for 15-20 years and are needing some attention. So I fix them up as best I can, the plastic being the biggest problem and the transaxle input pulley the next. Sometimes I do really well, sometimes not so much. I think I've got nine of them at last count, give or take one or two. :confused2:
I probably won't post much, but I read a lot. There's more to be learned from listening than talking.

New member, looking at a new 725DT.

Hi guys, I'm about to pull the trigger in my first zero turn. It's a major investment but IMO, there is only one brand to consider. I have a few questions about my potential new machine to ease my mind.

Is it ok to talk price on this site?

Thoughts on the rear discharge 61" deck?

I've always heard good things about the G2 trans, is the T6 better? As good at least? I get how it works and all, just curious about reliability. I originally wanted to find a 722 or 9XX for that reason, but hard to find a clean one I'd consider buying. I have found some clean older 721D's, but not sure how I feel about those machines. They would save me some coin, but idk.

Does older attachments hook up to the new machines?

Anything else I should be looking at? Or anything else I need to mention?

Machine I'm looking at, 2017 725dt, 61 rear discharge powerfold, high end suspension seat, folding rops, bar tires.

Currently mow relatively flat 3.5 acres but have a purchase contract on another 11.6 that I will own soon. Current mowing machine is a mahindra 2615HST with a 72" woods MMM.
