Swapping motors in a JD LT155

Hey all, I'm swapping a motor in an LT155 with what I thought was an identical motor. Almost but not quite. The "new" motor has a fuel solenoid on the carb and an oil safety switch. The old motor had neither. The new motor also has a manual choke, the old one no. I can swap the carb off the old engine to get rid of the solenoid issue, but can I bypass the oil safety switch on the new motor? If so, how. If not, do I just splice it in to a powered wire? Also I want to swap the old 4 pin connector on to the new motor, but I'm not real confident on what goes where. Any help greatly appreciated. First image below is the new motor, second is old.
