Cub Cadet Deck Wash Kit

I see that most of the riding mowers have a deck washer fitting, but only one. The used unit I just purchased has one but came with a 3nd kit. Is there a reason only is installed? Or is it up to the owner that the deck needs 2 deck washer kits???
