As the title states should I mow or should I not?
Backstory: Just bought a home on a 1/2 acre. the back yard has grass (st. augustine, brumuda), weeds, and bare spots, all in even quantities. The grass is about three inches tall right now and all my weeds are shorter than my grass.
If i choose not to mow this weekend and let the grass keep growing will the extra week of grass growth help to choke out the weeds, or will this not do anything as far as weeds are concerned.
Please let me know your throughts. I am trying to turn my yard into something that is worth bragging about.
