Riding mower with B&S "27hp" engine

I accidentally over filled the oil and now it is leaking oil on the muffler and smoking. I am going to pull the hood off and wash it down so I can see where the oil is coming from and try to repair if not too expensive. If it is very expensive I am thinking about buying a Cub Cadet 50" cut at Tractor Supply.
